Write your essay in response to one of the prompts below:
2. Closure, Movement, and Time Compare how two texts in our first unit (Gods Man,
Ruins, Walking Man, and Factory Summers) illustrate how characters and the story move through
time. In what ways are bodies depicted as physically moving? How do authors show time
passing? How do they make use of frame, point of view, and closure in order to illustrate
movement? And what do you learn from the the comparison. For this prompt, be sure to quote
from McCloud and/or Eisner to help define the terms you use in your analysis.
