This follows a couple of specific sub objectives:(i) To deduce what ICT in education policies are currently in place across the country and compared with Gascoigne School(ii) To clarify successful examples of how ICTs have been introduced and maintained in schools so as to be implemented at Gascoigne School(iii) To identify current provision of ICT in Gascoigne School(iv) To identify best practices for creating electronic/digital curricular content for Gascoigne School The central research question guiding this project is: How might pedagogical practises be changed utilising information and communication technologies in a way that is both successful and relevant? In order to explore the above questions and objectives, research is broken down into the following specific questions:(i) What are the benefits of using ICT in education? -2,1(ii) What are the barriers on a Student, Teacher and Administrative perspective? 1,2,3(iii) How can these issues be resolved via Teacher pedagogy and/or ICT Infrastructure? 1,2,3(iv) How has COVID aided/restricted the current use of ICT?3,4(v) Why has this changed the way education needs to think about the use of ICT in education?
