Discussion Description
1. Discuss ethical relativism – use examples from at least three philosophers who have attempted to address it, and also address the implications of those examples upon your own ethical framework and the ethics purveyed by others around you.
2. It appears that in the United States, we have a sort of ‘social contract,’ which governs society, and is informed by a variety of theories that assess ethical fairness, balance, equality of opportunity, legality, justice, human rights and so on. Discuss some of the theories, as presented in chapter four. Use at least two examples, and also address the implications of those examples upon your own ethical framework and the ethics purveyed by others around you.

1. Students will write a discussion response to a specific question wherein they identify and reflect upon relevant key assumptions of major moral theories and concepts within the textbook.
