It appears that in the United States, we have a sort of ‘social contract,’ which governs society, and is informed by a variety of theories that assess ethical fairness, balance, equality of opportunity, legality, justice, human rights and so on. Discuss some of the theories, as presented in chapter four. Use at least two examples, and also address the implications of those examples upon your own ethical framework and the ethics purveyed by others around you.
