ASTUDENT GROUP PROJECTYouTube Video Presentation Directions: Students are to form presentation groups of no more than six (6) individuals to develop a YouTube video on a classification of medications used to treat a common disease process. Video presentations must include content on the mechanisms of action, side effects, adverse effects, nursing management & considerations, and potential interactions with other drugs of the selected classification of drugs. The presentation must include a case scenario on how the drug would be utilized in the clinical setting. Videos are graded on the information presented about the medication/drugs, the flow of content, and originality. Video presentations can be a minimum of five (5) to a maximum of fifteen (15) minutes in duration. All group members must be active participants in the project and assume the roles of writer, producer, director, actors, stage managers, editors, etc. Completed videos must be posted on the Blackboard website for the course to be reviewed by others students in the class. Students must submit written documentation of the names of all group members, an outline of the presentation, and references used to complete the assignment in the correct APA format when submitting the video for grading. All group members will receive the same grade for the assignment. Only one group member is responsible for submitting the project to the instructor. Projects must be posted on the course website by 11:59 pm on the date the assignment is due. Five (5) points will be deducted from the total final grade of the assignment for every day the assignment is late. Before beginning the project, students must submit the selected drug classification to the faculty for approval. This assignment aligns with course objectives:• Discuss action, indication, side effects, adverse effects, contraindications, and nursing considerations of commonly administered medications (AR) (IX).• Identify the major classifications of drugs(AR) (IX).• Discuss the therapeutic management of specific diseases in clients with the inability to conserve energy and maintain the integrities(AR) (IX). The camera work is smooth, and the focus is crisp. Sound and visual files are distortion free. There are few technical problems. Content flows logically and is presented within time frame. Video presentation is interesting, original, and engaging.
