Propose an investment/trading strategy that is attractive to a hedge fund. The typesof investment strategies that are of interest to hedge funds are extremely wide-ranging, covering all asset classes and markets. However, in this assignment,students should not propose any strategies that focus on a single stock. (i.e. in-depthanalysis of a single stock e.g. long (or short) of a single stock). Furthermore, aproposed strategy should be of interest to any size of hedge fund. That is thestrategy can be scaled up and down, and still be profitable. For example, a strategythat earns 20 percent per year on $100,000 and may still be profitable, if it is scaledto deploy more than $100,000. As a general guideline, the strategy should be able todeploy at least $10 million. Additionally, it is encouraged to be creative, innovative.Novel trading strategies are very welcome.
