Write a thesis is on covid-19 has affected the prices of the accommodations in Greece. We will investigate hedonic and lasso regressions in Airbnb data for the city of Athens during the years 2018 until 2022. We are going to find which factors affect the price in AirBnBs during the years and compare each year’s results. After the comparison of each year’s result, we will observe if there is any significant difference besides these years and how the pandemic affected the price. The data is from insideairbnb.com. Inside Airbnb (footnote) is a standalone, non-commercial toolkit that allows users to explore and extract data on how Airbnb accommodations operate in cities around the world.As far as we know, there is no similar research about pandemic’s effect on sharing economy-based accommodations in Greece.
