As the UK government targets drift, the UK industry and construction will have to step up to meet increasingly challenging targets. The project aim is to understand what strategies UK contractors developing to meet these targets imposed by legally binding climate agreements. Engaging directly with innovation and sustainability managers and senior management through interviews, posing a series of questions raised through the review of the subject literature to gain an understanding of what trends, approaches, design practices, and technologies will form the basis of the companies strategy to meet the changes in regulation, legal legislation and self-regulated industry targets.1.
