The lecturer had i look to it and said the following: 1. There are a number of acronyms within the work that have not been explained – all acronyms need to on first instance be discussed in full before being used again2. Your literature review is not a literature review – you are just telling me one author’s perspective on a topic. You instead need to compare and contrast different authors’ takes on work around normal and disrupted operations in order to give me some idea as to what is written on the topic. It should not be a tell all, it should be a ‘XXX says this about this and YYY says this about the same topic’. However ZZZ argues something else.a. Regarding this I suggest you look again on the dissertation sites so you can see how a literature review is formed.3. The lack of focus without a given case study is noticeable – your research is very vague as a result. Yes you have included some airlines ways of tackling issues within their operations however I struggle to see where this actually matches up.4. This work needs to be checked for spelling and grammar issues – we have tools like Grammarly to assist with this and I think it will be valuable for you to consult.5. You are missing an entire section 4 of your work – I don’t know if this is supposed to be moved up or not?6. Within your methodology you are missing references which are required for this work.7. You have used some obscure search engines for your work – can you please tell me where you accessed web of science and why you have not included our own platform within your work?8. Can you also explain Boolean operators to me?9. You have failed to provide inclusion and exclusion criteria in your work that is in line with UCB research project writing.10. Why are you discussing coding in your methodology?11. You refer to a gap in information in your literature review, however this was never made clear within the section, especially with the form you have taken to writing with there being no comparing and contrasting – how are you planning on making this work going forward?12. The age of your references in the main body of your findings has a number of issues, these need to be significantly more recent than those you are suggesting. This is something that we have discussed with you multiple times therefore I am struggling with why you have not gathered this concept.13. I am struggling to see the link between the theory you have used and the aim of your work. This is a model used in safety, not for schedule and delay issues. The lack of application through case study makes it incredibly vague also. You need to really be thoughtful in your findings as at the moment it seems like you have thrown knowledge at the paper without really thinking through what you are trying to say. The theory should be similar to the paper presented but more researched.LIterature review you can add more research as well as findings.
