Think of a hypothetical case study, what needs to be considered as a non medical prescriber? What information do you need from your assessment? Think safety- allergies, OTC’s, Liver and renal. What are the risks of not knowing this information? Remember….if you don’t ask ‘X’….you won’t know ‘Y’…. you can’t safely prescribe ‘Z’.Do not need to discuss consultation models etc, use RPS competency framework and NMC standards for prescribing
