3.) Describe the evolution of the militia in American history up to 1846. (up to mex war) Be sure to highlight the pros and cons. (talk about relying on the militia doesnt work.) Also mention why a standing army or a regular army is much better.
4.) Describe the early military international (i.e. quasi war & barbary wars) interventions that werent official wars and how did that set up a precedent of the US involvement globally without a declaration of war.
