Chapter 9 covers the relevance of using Evidence-Based Practices (EBP) to deliver effective
multicultural counseling services, and Chapter 13 covers the use of culturally competent
assessment to treat clients form diverse populations. Please write a paper that is between 6 and 8
pages in length excluding cover, abstract, and reference sections addressing the following:
1. Describe the four diagnostic errors cited in the textbook and how you might avoid these
errors in clinical practice (Chapter 13).
2. Discuss how evidence-based practice differs from empirically supported treatments
(Chapter 9).
3. What are some ways to combine multicultural counseling and evidence-based practice?
Make sure to reference the required reading material and at least three references from scholarly
peer-reviewed journals or other books. Several resources are provided for you in the section
