Often clients turn to DMCs for their creativity and ability to provide unique experiences. In this case, given the profile of the group defined in the Canvas assignment section, suggest three evenings of room drops for the attendees. Creativity and uniqueness are key – no simple bottles of wine or chocolate-dipped strawberries – these need to be memorable items. Internet searches, visits to event planning ideas are encouraged – they may not identify specific items but may give ideas which may be developed. Per evening budgets are suggested for your use. You may shuffle some of the dollars as long as the overall proposal stays within budget. NO giftcards!
The group is made up of CEOs and other C-suiters, on an incentive trip. The first night should be a welcome to the location focus and the most modestly priced of the bunch. The second night should be a commemoration of the activities of that day or the next (I’ll let you imagine any activity you might have done or would be doing with the group of VIPs those days). The third night is the nicest, as a thank you for their participation. All should be of a nature that would allow them to pack them and take them home.
Purpose: The DMC is often pressed to suggest unique approaches to everything from room drops to gala themes. A large part of this assignment is on creativity and fitting the suggestions to the group demographic.
