In this week’s readings (textbook and articles) the world came full circle with Columbus’ “discovery” of the Americas. Our course will now encompass a universal “wholeness” with the Americas’ inclusion. The “world civilizations” are now wide open. .
In an American History course, your course would begin here. It’s amazing to know how much history occurred before its discovery. However, the major difference in this course versus a HIS 131 course is that we examine history through a world lens.
In this week’s written assignment you are going to go deep into how conquest (through spices) impacted the world as a whole by examining how several places changed. PLEASE BE SURE TO MEET ALL THE REQUIREMENTS FOR THIS ASSIGNMENT.
