Instructions: Compare at least one speech from group # 1 to at least one speech in group # 2 by answering the following questions. There are some pronounced differences between the two groups and you will see a much starker contrast than if comparing both speeches within a group to each other.

1.) Does the speaker demonstrate their own experience with the topic or cite legitimate, reliable sources to show their credibility? Which of these speakers do you trust the most? Please explain your answer.
2.) Have the visual aids served any of the purposes explained above to help the audience understand material, see the organization of the speech, or make content compelling and vivid? Which ones applied or did not apply in these speeches?
3.) Do the visual aids look professional and did they make the speaker appear more credible and trustworthy? Were they distracting for you as a potential audience member? Why or why not?
4.) Based on the use of visual aids in the speech, do you think you could actually do the skill or action described by the speaker? Why or why not?
5.) Based on your comparison so far, how can you use the principles of credibility and effective visual aids for your own demonstrative speeches?
