In the Learning Activity titled “Enhance Leadership Effectiveness,” you reviewed guidelines for strategic planning and strategy, geared toward navigating an organization and their leadership through challenges dealing with change and other significant issues. You will now apply what you have learned and offer your wisdom to the organization you have chosen leadership in a mock presentation (to be reviewed by your Tutorial Faculty). Directions: Using one of the media options listed below, create a 4 to 7 minute presentation with audio narration outlining the following:: A brief recap (no more than 3 paragraphs) of the tools offered by CBS News (2009) and Martin Reeves (2014). Your overall assessment of the company via the results of your environmental scan. Inclusion of the areas you considered during your Learning Objective activities may be considered: Important team effort Large lay-off (10% or more of staff) Major change initiative Merger or acquisition New technology or system New product development and/or implementation Overcoming or addressing a controversial ethical dilemma Current challenges that the organization is facing internally (organizational culture, dynamics, behaviors and team development processes may be included) Ethical dilemmas the organization is facing and recommendations on how they may be addressed (diversity, inclusiveness, responses to current events, etc., may be included). Action steps that you, as a consultant, would suggest that they implement.
