Write a 3-4 page description of the specific topic that you will analyze and an overview of how you anticipate the project will deal with issues of philosophical ethics in relation to the media form of your original production. Only approved proposals will be allowed to move forward with their project. Proposals should include a clearly stated thesis statement and a clearly delineated outline. Develop a thesis statement that clearly articulates your topic and how you are approaching issues raised in the text. Every part of your project should contribute clearly to your thesis statement. A thesis statement does not need to be framed as taking a strong or definitive position in a debate; an effective thesis statement can present a difficulty of interpretation, a thorny historical problem, or some other unansweredand perhaps unanswerablequestion that the project will seek to untangle or explore to achieve greater understanding. Along with the thesis statement, you will provide a detailed outline of the structure of the final paper, specifying the particular issues that you will examine and the examples that you will use as evidence. Give a sense that you know how the arc of your presentation and paper will begin, link its various points, conclude, and relate to/include your original media production.
