Background information on the thesis: When employees are disengaged, organisations confront issues that affect profitability and productivity. Businesses in a similar situation may think about using the strategies to reengage staff and increase productivity and profit margins. To successfully apply the employee engagement improvement techniques across the organisation, 5 managers were selected. Semi-structured interviews were used to capture the data. Stakeholders: 5 senior leaders across organisation X (Sales, Marketing, IT, HR, Training) were selected based on their knowledge, experience and ability to answer the main research question Research question (this can change): what strategies do senior leaders use to improve employee engagement?
