This is an MSc dissertation project for Cognitive and Clinical Neuroscience. However, my research is now more based on psychological research; therefore, please smoothly work on the research question accordingly to a psychological perspective. The research title is – How do caregivers understand schizophrenia? A qualitative study. – The purpose of the study is to investigate how caregivers understand schizophrenia and how this impacts the individuals which they care for. Furthermore, I am uploading some documents which you may find helpful, and I am uploading a file named “qualitative_research_data_analysis” This file explains how to do data analysis for qualitative research. I am uploading a file named “Guide to thematic analysis” and a file named “Writing up thematic analysis” please use this file as a guide when using the thematic analysis for the results section. I am uploading a file named “Coding Qualitative Data” please use this document as a reference when coding the data. I am uploading the file “Constructing themes” please use it as a reference when constructing themes. The word limit for the dissertation (excluding any tables, appendices, quotes and references) is 8,000 words. Please use APA 7th edition referencing. Please use Thematic Analysis to analyse the data. Although I have sent you all the instructions and the information, I still need to complete conducting the interviews. You can start designing the research. However, I will need a brief time to conduct the 8 to 12 interviews with participants, and then I will need to transcribe them and send them to you in a transcript format.
