Imagine that you are 90 years old and that you have the chance to go back and talk to yourself when you were a child, an adolescent, a young adult, and a middle adult.

Mechanics:

Papers should be a minimum of 750 words. (Note: This word count works out to about 3 double-spaced pages. This word count does not include any headers, titles, long quotes, or other sections of the paper not originally created by the student).
Papers should be proof-read in addition to using a spell checker.
Please use at least three viable academic sources for each mini-project. Yes, your text book counts as one viable source.
Do not simply copy-and-paste large quantities of material from books, websites, articles, etc. Use short quotes, as well as summaries and your own thoughts about the information. The total portion of directly quoted material in the paper should be around 10-15% of your total word count – all of which needs to be appropriately referenced.
Please be sure to use correct APA citations for resources you use (titles, authors, website addresses, etc.) to avoid any type of plagiarism, and include a bibliography at the end (if appropriate).
Remember this is more of a mini-research paper than a mini-opinion paper. Make sure to support all claims and facts with viable sources and citations.
Canvas will already tell me who the paper is from, what date/time it what submitted and what assignment/class your paper is for; so you do not need to include this information in your paper.
Please use APA formatting.
Students may wish to visit the Student Learning Center (Writing Center) in Mukilteo Hall for free advice on their paper before submitting.
Papers will be submitted directly into a Canvas page on the week they are due.

Each mini-project is worth 50 points. Here is the topic for the this Mini-Project:

Imagine that you are 90 years old and that you have the chance to go back and talk to yourself when you were a child, an adolescent, a young adult, and a middle adult. Using the material learned from this class, what advice would you give to yourself at each stage (child, adolescent, young adult, and middle adult)? This means that there should be four solid body paragraphs for this paper (one for each age bracket). Make sure your advice at each stage addresses the three main development spheres (cognitive, socio-emotional, and physical), and make sure to include content from this course and textbook to support your advice.
