The aim of this dissertation is to see if the use of virtual reality is useful in the diagnosis and treatment of anxiety and depression. The dissertation will be a systematic literature review of recent case studies. It will provide a complete, exhaustive summary of current literature relevant to the research question, with the aim to identify strengths and weaknesses in current evidence, and signpost future clinical practice and research. There will be no use of any primary or secondary data. The format must be in a journal report will appendices and a reference list. There must be citations throughout the dissertation. The sources used must be from academic journals and books etc. there will be two parts to this dissertation. The first part is the journal report paper (4,000-6,000 words), the second part is the clinical recommendations report (1,500-2,000 words). A summary of the dissertation format is as follows: Title page including title of the dissertationStructured Abstract for Dissertation as a whole (300 words maximum)Contents page for entire Dissertation Journal Report Paper (4,000-6,000 words): Introduction, Methods, Results, Discussion, References. Clinical Recommendations Report (1,500-2,000 words): As described above, with references.Appendices not covered elsewhere: These appendices might include additional data and data analyses of interest but not directly linked to the Journal Report Paper, and/or additional supporting material.
