During the computer lab sessions, you will work through three guided data handling labs in R. Each lab will have some exercise questions based upon the guided element of the lab. You are to work through the exercise questions each week and submit these. I will send the complete guides which have the questions that need to be completed at the end of each guide. If you require the completed R studio for each lab don’t hesitate to call or text.
In the first lab you will learn how to open R and R studio, how to create vectors in R and how to name them. You will also learn how to use basic mathematical functions in R. The second lab will introduce you to data frames and how to manipulate them. You will learn how to subset data frames and how to merge them. The third lab will teach you how to create plots in R. You will learn how to change the appearance of your plots and how to save them.
After you have completed the three labs, you should be able to:
