Review a film or album of your choice. You’ll provide an overall argument about the merit or value of the film/album, and you’ll support your argument with various different reasons. You will choose various aspects of the film/album as support for your claims, and you’ll need to provide specific evidence from the film/album to support your claims, such as specific quotes, descriptions, lyrics, or other specific details from your text.
Some sub-topics you might choose to cover could be costume design, cinematography or camera work, the use of lighting and/or color, character development (of either main characters or side characters), setting, music or sound, adaptation choices, acting (make sure you can articulate *specific* instances of “good acting” with clear reasons for why they are good), believable dialogue, innovative ideas, engagement with current social issues, the score, effective use of suspense, the instrumental accompaniment, lyrics, or *many* other areas depending on what type of text it is! I recommend that you do not use “plot” as one of your sub-topics because this is really generic, and your paragraph would just end up being a plot summary.
