In the previous lesson you learned about 9 different training principles (overload, frequency, intensity, duration, progression,specificity, reversibility, rest and recovery). Watch this video created by one of your teachers. This video will help you to be successful in the next two activities. Then, scroll down to view your activity instructions. For this activity answer the following questions in a discussion post and use the example as a guide: Describe a type of exercise program that you will participate in on a weekly basis. (2 sentences) (Example: I will participate in a walking program in my neighborhood, at the local park. I plan to walk with a friend whenever possible.) Identify at least 3 of the training principles from the previous lesson that you will implement in your exercise program and how/when you will implement each training principle. (3 sentences) (Example: The frequency of my walking program will be 3 times per week. The duration of each time I walk will be for 1 hour. I plan on walking at a brief pace, and occasionally up steep hills, which is an example of Intensity.) Notice how I used and highlighted/underlined the definition in each sentence, you are expected to do this as well. You have 9 different training principles to choose from, feel free to use any 3. In this activity, you will write your response and share it in this discussion forum. Provide your answers to both questions with at least five complete sentences.
