I learned that there is a lot of variation in the way that people in different cultures think about and experience death. In the film, we see people from a variety of cultures dealing with death in different ways. For example, in the scene where the family is preparing for the funeral of their loved one, we see them cleaning the body and dressing it in traditional clothing. This is something that is done in many cultures as a way of honoring the dead. In other cultures, such as the one featured in the film, people may not have any formal funeral rites and instead simply bury the body as quickly as possible.
What stood out to you the most?
One thing that stood out to me the most was the way that the family in the film dealt with the death of their loved one. They did not seem to be particularly upset or emotional about it. Instead, they went about their business as usual, even laughing and joking with each other. This was in stark contrast to the way that many people in Western cultures deal with death, which is often seen as a very tragic and emotional event.
