what are the weaknesses and strengths of K-R are and do you feel there is a better model that works based on your analysis of the religion in question?

Alternatives to Elizabeth Kubler-Rosss Five Stages of Grief
Elizabeth Kubler-Rosss five stage model of grieving has been extremely influential both in academic circles and with the public in general, but it has also been subject to much scrutiny and critique. Examine Kubler-Rosss model, and describe how she came to develop it, the critiques of her model, and the alternatives that have been proposed by those who think her model needs to be modified or replaced with an alternative model. You should also include what you believe are the strengths and weaknesses of these various interpretations of the grieving process, and comment on those that you find convincing, if any. (*******Compare this to Hinduism)

Your outline should show how you will structure your essay, and what topics you will address. Your outline should include the following elements:
Introduction: Be sure to include a thesis statement outlining what you want to discuss, and what point or argument you would like to bring out in your paper.
The body of the paper: Marshal all your evidence based on your research in the body of your essay to systematically expand upon what you discussed in your introduction.
Conclusion: Tie up your essay by summarizing the point(s) you made in your paper.
Bibliography: Both your preliminary and final bibliography MUST conform to the notes-bibliography format of the Chicago Manual of Style.

What I would like you to do for this paper is to consider the validity of K-R’s model as a valid framework for understanding grief across religious traditions. You can choose any of the religions we have looked at in the course ( I CHOSE HINDUISM) and evaluate how well does K-R’s framework fit into the way that particular religion deals with grief and loss. Once you have done that consider what are the weaknesses and strengths of K-R are and do you feel there is a better model that works based on your analysis of the religion in question? Do you feel that K-R’s model needs to be tweaked? Or do analytical models as a whole should be just rejected

I am asked to view the K-R model through the lens of a particular religion studied in the course and see how well the model hold up when applied to a specific tradition’s grieving rituals.

I will need to state what I want to look at when it comes to Hinduism and how it relates to the overall paper.
