Students are required to undertake 4-6 interviews lasting approximately 15-20 minutes each on ONE of the topics presented below and present a written report (not more than 2,000 words) on the findings and conclusion of the interviews. The study will require the students to: Choose a topic for interview (options below to be decided);Design an interview schedule;Undertake the interviews;Record the data;Analyse and report the findings;Draw conclusions based on the findings.The topics are as follows: What motivates spectators to attend sporting events?What public support exists for the inclusion of esports in the Olympic Games?Virtual communities: To what effect have students used online platforms to ensure a sense of community during lockdown?Notes: Students can choose who they wish to interview – this could be fellow students, members of their families, colleagues from work places/sports clubs etc.
