Tupac went to a fight in Las Vegas called the MGM Grand, as they were leaving they ran into Orlando Anderson, a member of the rival Southside Crips gang. Earlier that year he had attempted to rob Lane, a member of the MOB Pirus gang (affiliated with Suge Knight, the CEO of Death Row Records). When Lane told Tupac that Andrson tried to steal from him, Tupak punched Anderson, and Suge along with his associate joined in beating Anderson. Later Shakur and Knight were driving to club 662. A white Cadillac pulled to the side of them with a passenger in the back that opened fire with a Glock 22, shooting 25-year-old Shakur 4 times and he died 6 days later in the hospital.
