For this assignment, please watch The Political Education of Maggie Lauterer (the film is 85 minutes in length) and then address the following questions in a well-organized post of at least 750 words:
Who was Maggie Lauterer and what was she doing in the film you watched? In what ways did Maggie receive a political education (i.e., what sorts of things did she learn about the American political process during her campaign?). Did Maggie change as a result of her experience with the American political system? Finally, having watched this documentary, what did you learn about the American political system. In answering these questions, be sure to address topics from Unit 2 including public opinion, the media, voting, and interest group activity.
