This paper will analyze the effects of the Ukraine crisis on the United States economy and increase understanding regarding how the Ukraine Crisis affects the United States markets. This topic was selected because the Ukraine crisis will have heavy consequences on the business world for investors and business owners in the United States. All information was obtained via news sites covering the crisis and statistical reports on the economy. This paper will cover how the crisis is affecting the oil market, the agricultural market, and how the Russian sanctions will affect business globally. The global economy will be affected by each of the above topics thus, the United States economy will also be affected as a result. Each topic will be discussed regarding how it operated before the crisis and how it operates now.
